Characters of Chinese chives seed: It is semicircular or semi-oval, slightly flat, 2mm long and 1.5mm wide. With black surface, one side protruding, rough, with fine reticular wrinkles, the other side slightly concave, wrinkles are not obvious. Tip obtuse, base slightly pointed, with punctate hilum. It is hard with a special smell and slightly pungent taste.
